The Food Pantry Fundraiser Committee presented Father Ken with the proceeds from our October event. A collaboration of The Knights of Columbus, Westhampton Kiwanis and Westhampton Rotary, along with the huge support of our community!

Westhampton, Hampton Bays, and Southampton Rotary Clubs enjoyed a dinner outside at the Canoe Place Inn and Cottages.

Food Pantry Committee members from Westhampton Rotary, Westhampton Kiwanis, and the Father Slomski Knights of Columbus met to give Father Mike the donation from our Fundraiser Dinner. We are grateful to the community for the unfailing support for this event.
Mario Arakelian, General Manager of the newly opened Canoe Place Inn in Hampton Bays, will be our featured dinner speaker on Tuesday, January 24th, at 6 p.m. at Joe’s American Grill in Westhampton Beach. He will speak about the transformation of this historic landmark which has roots dating back to 1697. The event is open to the public. The cost is what you order off the menu. Please join us!

In Memory of John Joseph Blaney of Westhampton Beach, NY
June 3, 1947—February 12, 2022
John Blaney, 74, of Westhampton Beach, died peacefully at home on February 12th with his beloved partner Ellen Worth by his side. John was born in Woodhaven, Queens, grew up in Jamaica, Queens, and moved to Westhampton Beach after graduating from St. John's University. He was drawn to the natural beauty of Westhampton Beach as a young man. He loved learning about the area’s history, and was ever a fixture of the town’s vibrant social life. A visionary and accomplished real estate developer, he was active on Long Island’s East End for nearly fifty years, and became a successful appraiser in the latter part of his career. He established Blaney Realty in the 1970s and maintained an office on Main Street for many decades. He was co-owner of the nightclub Scarletts, a discothèque on Mill Road in the 1970s and ‘80s. He was a member of the Southampton Town Planning Board for 2000 through 2020 and a member of the Westhampton Rotary Club from 1993 until his passing.

It is with deepest sadness we share the news of Tom Kerr's passing. He served as Club President twice, District Governor, on the District Youth Exchange Committee and performed countless small jobs in service to Rotary and his community. May the family be comforted and held in all our prayers.
