DESCRIPTION:OCTOBERFEST IS CANCELLED. Unfortunately\, due to the predicted 
 very nasty weather\, we feel it is necessary to cancel this year Oktoberfe
 st. Obviously this was a hard decision as it is a very good fundraiser for
  the camp\, but we were deeply concerned about everybody’s safety. As an
  ode to Bavarian Culture\, The Rotary Club of the Moriches is once again h
 osting its annual Oktoberfest celebration at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck (located at 
 Chet Swezey Road). This event will be held September 25th to 27th with all
  of the sights and sounds of the traditional Oktoberfest Beer Gardens and 
 Carnivals\, such as traditional German food\, vendors and live entertainme
 nt. Admission is $25\, which includes entry the beer garden and a ticket f
 or one complimentary beer or soda for anyone age 21 and over. $20 for acti
 ve/retired military and seniors 65+. Guests under the age of 21 are admitt
 ed into the park for free. Proceeds from Festival Benefit Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck
 . TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE DOOR. This rain-or-shine event will be h
 eld at the following times: Friday\, September 25th: 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday
 \, September 26th: noon to 10 p.m. Sunday\, September 27th: noon to 6 p.m.
  There will also be a carnival\, where parents can buy tickets or wristban
 ds for rides. There are bands that play throughout the event.
