Since we have no regular meetings until Wednesday July 18th, this special newsletter is being issued as a reminder to all members of important, upcoming events and announcements.

 

Golf Outing –  Our Annual Golf Outing will be held next Tuesday, July 10th at the Willow Creek Golf Club in Mount Sinai. This will again be a joint event with the Rotary clubs of Bay Shore, Islip, and Syosset-Woodbury. Project Chair Neil Weingarten needs a few volunteers to help out during the outing. Steak Cookout/Officer Installation – Our Annual Steak Cookout & Installation of Incoming Club Officers will be held on Wednesday, July 11th, starting 6PM, at Michael Simon’s Bay House. We need a head count – if you plan to attend, please contact Charlie Spencer

July Food Drive – The July food drive will be held on the weekend of 7/14 & 7/15. If you can help for a couple of hours on either day, please contact Chris Cunningham (chris.cnnnghm@gmail.com) asap.

 

Dirty Sock Run – In addition to signing up new event sponsors, it’s time to prepare for the big day – it’s just a bit more than a month away! Everyone’s help is needed for this most important fundraiser, and all are encouraged to attend the next meeting of the DSR Committee on Wednesday, July 18th, 11:30 AM at Lily Flanagan’s Pub. Please make every effort to attend to learn how you can help with this year’s only major BRC fundraiser.

 

Camp Pa-Que-Tuck – Mikel Hoffman is working with the Camp and our co-presidents to settle on a compatible date for our Annual BBQ Lunch for the kids and counselors at Camp Pa-Que-Tuck in Center Moriches; stay tuned.

 

 

Our next regular meeting will be held at Lily Flanagan’s Pub, Wednesday, July 18th. Plase arrive early (11:30 AM) to participate in the most important Dirty Sock Run Committee meeting.
