Claudia Pascale told us about her year in Australia as a Rotary Exchange Student at our regular meeting on Wednesday, December 19th.
She began by outlining the process of applying and qualifying as a Rotary exchange student, and expressing thanks for the unique opportunity. Claudia then described the lifestyles, unusual sites and landmarks (especially the magnificent beaches), foods and flavors, and the welcoming and friendly Australians she encountered during her stay.
Claudia traveled the entire east coast of the country, visiting all of the major cities, participated in an enlightening camping trip, gave numerous talks at Rotary clubs along the way, and described most unusual experiences in what she calls the trip of a lifetime.
