La Rocha Farm:
Lunch + Environmental Conservation Farm Tour

Conservation Science + Environmental Education + Sustainable Agriculture

Bringing hope through care-preserving sensitive and threatened habitats while growing food sustainably and inspiring a shift in how we treat the Earth.

After a warm and welcoming community lunch, our tour guide led us through the grounds, sharing insights into their local efforts in ecosystem and watershed conservation. We saw how increasing food security goes hand in hand with community involvement—nurturing not just food-bearing plants, but also a deeper connection to the land and to each other.

Handing out the Rotary Climate Fair... to US!

Planning for the Future: Rotary Climate Fair 2026

Robyn Curtis, the visionary behind the Rotary Climate Fair, graciously prepared a presentation to help guide us through this exciting transition.

We were joined by members of key partner organizations already contributing to the event, including Regenerate BC, Dogwood, WE-CAN, the Wilderness Committee, and Climate Conversations. Their insights and collaboration will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of the fair.

What We Can Start Working on Right Now:

  • Securing a location for the fair in November 2026

  • Finding dedicated managers for key areas: Vendors, Speakers, Teaching, Volunteers, and more

  • Keeping the event in mind as we network—who knows what aligned opportunities may arise between now and 2026?

With collective effort and vision, we can make this event more impactful than ever.
Let’s start planting the seeds today! 🌱

Working together for our environment and communities!
