Our Charter Event was an amazing night with 30 people present for our first fundraising event, and 48 people on zoom, dialing in from over 18 countries worldwide. We chartered with 40 members from 9 African countries, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, UK & USA. There were 39 new Rotarians with Charter President Eve being the only serving rotary member.
Well wishes from Rotary International were well received and club mentor and District Membership chair PDG Jitendra Prasad not only provided his home for the event he surprised our President Eve Fraser with a PHF!
Charter Induction for 5 Members in Uganda
Over in Africa, 5 of our Members had their own induction ceremony and Charter Event during an official visit by District Governor, Rtn. Dr. Mike Kenndy Sebalu, to the local Rotary Club in Kampala Ssese Islands, Uganda. It was a great night, attended via Zoom by Charter President, Eve, and others around the world
