PUMPKIN' CHUNKIN' - 2ND ANNUAL HASSAYAMPA HARVEST HURL

This event turned out to be a good success, two Boy Scout entries and one entry for a local business, the under the bridge activity was hoppin!  Up top of the bridge we had over 40 kids build rockets to shoot for the bridge for prize of the greatest distance - the rockets were amazing and the distances they could fly was incredible!  The pumpkin decorating shows that Wickenburg is clearly an artistic town.

Please for your event next year - 3rd Annual Hassayampa Harvest Hurl - Saturday, October 20th, 2018!

It's been exactly one month and eight days since I left Wickenburg, Arizona. The time seems to have gone bye so fast. Before I know it I'm going to be back in Arizona, but as of right now I'm so not done with Slovakia yet. There are a oodles of things that I have yet to experience.

As one of Rotary's revered 4 Avenues of Service, Vocational Service is central to what is means to be a Rotarian. Some misunderstand Vocational Service as being limited to a handful of labor related projects. But Vocational Service is all about the service Rotarians provide through their profession, their calling or vocation. By recruiting new members from a diverse range of membership classifications, by practicing the 4-Way Test, by recommending our associates and employees for GSE (yes that is a VOCATIONAL PROGRAM) Rotarians make the biggest impact not in what they bring to lunch every Tuesday, by in what they bring out of it, and into the workplace!
