Rotary Meeting June 5, 2015
A Special Meeting ...
We Inducted a New Member!
Welcome to the Club Tony Sambol!

President Bob opened the meeting promptly at noon and exclaimed how honored he was to be the leader of this Award Winning Club!

Clarine Clampitt led the group in a heart felt Invocation.  Jim Dowler let the group in The Pledge of Allegiance.  Pieter Vos followed up with reciting the Four-Way Test.  The traditional "and have fun" was enthusiastically chanted at the end.  Don Sather differed to Paul Hofstand to lead the club members in singing.  Dick Catlin delivered the “Fun & Games” and collected some money for the club.

Jack Parkinson gave us his nutritional support.  His topic was the amazing onion.  You think you know a lot about the foods we eat.  Then you realize how little you know after you listen to Jack's nutritional report!

There were many "Happy Rotarians" who contributed close to $150 to the clubs coffers!  Some of those Happy Rotarians were Kathy Linton, Anne Brown, Pieter Vos, Roger Bowen, Brien Hendrickson, Dick Stuckey and Bob Murray.

Dick Sather gave us his amazing bio.  It started as a teenager and ended with him joining the SCW Rotary club.  One of the highlights of his career with the Salvation Army was the securing a 1.47 Billion endowment from a single donor while in Southern California.

President Bob handed out many of the "Club Champion" Polo Shirts.

The meeting adjourned promptly at 1:00pm
