"The Heart of Route 66"

Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club is located in Kingman, Arizona. Kingman is known as the heart of Route 66, made famous in the 1960s by the TV show of the same name.  Founded in the mid-1800s by Louis Kingman, the town thrived because of the rich mineral deposits still mined in the area today.  Its citizenry prides itself on its rugged, Old West character.

The main street and a yearly parade and festivities are named after Andy Devine, an actor famous for his portrayals of cowboys in Western themed movies.  The town also has a long ranching and railroad history and heritage dating back to the early pioneers.  

Members of the Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club are active in many ways in our community. We support our schools and other youth groups, veterans' groups, and animal shelters. We hold a large community event: The Kingman Festival of the Arts- Honoring Mother's Day, which showcases local arts, crafts, music, and dance, and is free to attend.  This fundraising event proceeds go to our club's foundation. We then use these funds in our community and international service projects. 

Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club invites everyone to our club meetings to share our unique, fun hospitality. We meet Friday mornings at 7:00 am at 309 Beale Street, in the Mohave College Beale St. Center.  The Rotary Satellite of Kingman Route 66 meets evenings on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the Month.
