QR 911

Speaking at the July 12th meeting of Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club was Oscar Lopez, Building & Life Safety Inspector with Kingman Fire Department (shown above with club past-president Becky Fawson). Lopez addressed the club on QR911, a program that provides life-saving information to emergency responders. City of KIngman Fire Department is the first fire department in the nation to offer this free program. With it, each person that enrolls is issued a QR code, specific to that individual, which can be printed out & displayed in the home, vehicle, wallet, etc. Included in the code is the individual's critical medical information such as medications taken, allergies, etc. and is confidential and can only be accessed by emergency responders. For more information on QR911, contact Lopez at 928-753-2891 or alopez@cityofkingman.gov
