Wrestling Program! Lee Williams High School

Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club's August 24th meeting were Dan Ondrejka, Head Coach of Lee Williams Wrestling Team and Jimmy Wayman, team member (shown above with club president Becky Fawson). The wrestling program began 6 years ago and is proud of the strides made in the past 3 years, winning 70% of their matches, 10 state qualifiers and  a trophy last year. The team travels more than any other school sport with 5 away tournaments (and 1 home tournament) per season. This coming season they're pleased to have scheduled 2 home tournaments. The cost of the wrestling program is $4,500 per year with only $700 provided by the school and the balance through fund raising and donations. Tax credits are available to those making donations to the program.
