Slab-O-Rama

The Rotary Club of Bullhead City is proud to announce the return of our BBQ Competition… that’s right, the 8^th Annual Slab-O-Rama BBQ Challenge is in high gear here in Bullhead City and our website is live!  Our BBQ Challenge taking place on January 13 & 14, 2023. The Slab-O-Rama BBQ Challenge is a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned contest which will allow the overall winning team to automatically qualify for the American Royal and Jack Daniels competitions. Teams compete for $16,000.00 in prizes and some serious bragging rights. The teams will go head-to-head in the KCBS sanctioned categories of Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket, and in the open categories of Sausage, Appetizers, Desserts and Cook’s Choice. The fun starts on Friday January 13 at 5:00 p.m. with the judging of the open categories by our Judges.

Our BBQ Competition is a community event, and we want as many people from the community to come down and participate. To encourage the community to participate in Slab-O-Rama, we are asking all teams to think about vending to the public on both Friday and Saturday during the event.
