Rotary Board of Directors' Meeting                                                June 5, 2008

Minutes of May 1, 2008 approved:  Motion by Barry Gregory

 

Treasurer's Report approved with amendments:  Motion by Craig Boates to accept with changes

 

New Business:

          Our next fundraiser will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 , with the Hot Dog Cart and Beer Truck.  We have approved the Country Club to serve beverages also.  Normal hours have been moved back, so we can anticipate serving from approximately 6 p.m to possibly 11 p.m.   This is a great opportunity for us.  Please prepare to volunteer for this event.  Volunteer early and volunteer often!!!!!!!

 

Debunking-  June 28, 2008 , at the Ironwood, $30 per person with cash bar.  Please RSVP to Tim Maki ASAP.

 

The incoming Board of Directors will be as follows:  Barry Gregory-Public Relations

Jan Samar- Club Administration   Bob Ticer- Foundation       Sandy Stice- Treasurer      Larry Evans- Past President and then some!!  Bill Irmen- Service project chairmen   R. K. Standerfer- Secretary

 

District Conference:  An entire raisin pie goes out to Bob Ticer for his efforts in coordinating our booth at the District Conference.  His secret may have had something to do with the flavor of beverage that was presented, or maybe not.  Thanx, Bob Ticer!!!  Bob does a huge amount of work that a lot of us aren't aware of  taking care of the Foundation!

 

Public Relations:  Our Images ad is in place for the July 3, 2008 , event.

 

Our webmaster, Tom Keck, regardless of the emails you might have received, has decided to remain with the Club.  A big piece of raisin pie goes out to Tom for the work he has done taking over the website from Chris Theotocatos.  Thanx, Tom Keck!
