Club Business:  Shane Orr reminded us that if you would like to auto pay your Rotary dues - see Kim Warren to sign up for ACH on demand.  Shane also reminded us that we still need to raise money to match our grant for the trail signs and dog park benches.

Program:  Our program was Peggy Gordon speaking to us about the Muscatine Dog Park.  Over 3200 households in Muscatine have one or more dogs.  There are over 5200 dogs in Muscatine.  The Muscatine Dog Park has a goal of 300 for membership.  The dog park project has been headed up by COMP - Citizens for Offleash Muscatine Park, they are a 501c.  The annual fee is $15 and can be purchased through the city - in person or online.  This fee helps to cover the maintenance of the park.  The park just opened on November 1, 2018 and currently has 188 members.  The park is located off of Houser Street between the Humane Society and the new parking for the soccer complex.  It has industrial grade 5 foot high fences and is split into 3 different areas for dogs.  Enclosures for large dogs, small dogs, and shy/senior dogs.   Thank you Peggy.

Next meeting will be held on January 14, 2019 at the Rendezvous.
