Club News and Happy News:  Charla Schafer Director of MCSA was a guest and potential new member. We are looking for volunteers to help with the 4th of July Parade.  Janet Morrow also has raffle tickets available.  Under Happy News:  Dick Stanley is proud that 2 granddaughters graduated from college.  Shane Orr invited participation in the summer food program which is going on for the next 10 weeks from 11:30-1:30.  A great opportunity to volunteer.  Joel Young celebrated family birthdays. Sal Lo Bianco is happy that his mom had a birthday celebration for number 95.  Chuck Moody happy to celebrate his 48th wedding anniversary.  Keith Porter is happy to be celebrating 30 years of marriage.
 
Program: Eastern Iowa Community College's Business Development Center is a taxpayer funded center representing Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine and Scott Counties.  The focus of the center is consultation in business valuation for purposes of buying or selling.  They are also a  resource for someone starting a business or growing one. The Center according to Joel Youngs can help not for profits through entities such as SCORE.
 
A small business has fewer than 500 employees and has revenue less than $20 million.  Joel is the staff currently at the center working to grow small business.
