Program: Rich Dwyer introduced Andrew Fangman to share the Pearl III CAT Grant.  The plan follows the city's Comprehensive Plan which can be found online at the city's website.  The application was submitted in February and we have been asked to clarify some details and expect to hear if the grant will be funded sometime in April or May.  There are 5 projects embedded in the application including:  The Soccer Complex Addition, the Dog Park, the Wiggens/Musser Park Trail Project, Deep Lakes Park and the Muscatine Art Center HVAC update.

The Soccer Complex will gain 4 new grass fields and 228 additional parking spaces. The Dog Park will be constructed for off leash use by pet owners.  A trail head will be developed at Wiggens Road/ Musser Park.  Deep Lakes Park will gain 4 new cabins for public rental.  The Muscatine Art Center will improve exhibition space and gain modern Heating and Cooling systems.  Each project has inkind or local funding sources to support the application,
