A Christmas Social was held at the Muscatine History and Industry Center with 3 guests present Katie Watson, guest of Bob Allbee, Rotarian Paul Fitzpatrick from Newton Conover, North Carolina and a guest with Gregs Thomopulos.

 

President Tony provided Christmas Greetings and Scott Ingstad delivered a very genuine Christmas Invocation speaking to the joy of the Christmas Season.

 

Program: Mary Wildermuth, Director of the Muscatine History and Industry Center was introduced by Pam Collins. Mary facilitated an informative program on Pearl Buttons, Entrepreneurs and Rotarians.  Rotarians were asked to work together at their tables  to discuss and answer 12 questions pertaining to the Center's exhibits and Rotarian persons connected to the museum and their involvement in the town. 

 

Rotarians moved throughout the exhibits to confirm or determine answers for the Rotary/Museum Trivia Contest.  Rotarians found in the answers were Harvey Allbee, Bob Jensen, Scott Ingstad, Keith Porter, Nathan Mather, Erika Cox, David and Richard Stanley, Jim Nepple, Sal LoBianco, Jeff Miller, Gregs Thomopulos, Gayle Roberts, Stan Howe and Rich Dwyer.  The question stumping most was the Harvey Allbee relative Mercedes McKee and the MHIC Board Members of Erika Cox and Nathan Mather!!
