This is Domestic Violence Month.  Fliers have been put in "to go" Pizza Boxes sharing the message.  Domestic Violence is about a relationship between two people. The Violence can be physical, sexual, emotional or mental.  One of every 4 women have experienced abuse.  Girls age 18 are 1 in every 3.  The Shelter program in Muscatine has housed 78 women and their children since February. 20 persons per minute are victims of violence.  Today CyberBullying is another form of violence.  There are 20,000 calls a day to domestic violence hot lines.  Women aged 18-24 are most commonly victims of intimate violence. Muscatine's program is now housed at MCSA and Rachel is the Program Director.
