The much-loved Shelburne PumpkinFest is making its grand return the weekend before Thanksgiving, promising a day filled with autumn festivities, family-friendly activities, and community celebration at Natasha Paterson Memorial Park on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 12-4 pm.
Vendor spots are available for just $25 early bird, $35 after September 1 (non-profit organizations are free), and community members or businesses looking to get involved are encouraged to reach out.
The Rotary Club of Shelburne is proud to host the Nutcracker Gala in support of the Shelburne Food Bank for the third year!
This event sold out in the first two years and was instrumental in fulfilling Rotary’s commitment of $20,000 towards the food bank van in the Gala’s first year. Last year $20,000 was raised to directly support the purchase of food for local families facing food insecurity.
This gala is a perfect time to kick off the season with a bit of “Glitz and Glamour” by donning your best attire and joining your friends and neighbours for a gourmet meal, live and silent auctions, fundraising games and incredible entertainment.

My name is Melissa Niedzwiecki, and I am a Grade 1 teacher in Shelburne. I live in Shelburne with my husband, Steve, and our four children, Raeburn, Mikey, Maddy and Violet, along with our two dogs, River and Saide. I have heard about Rotary over the years through the local paper, my coworkers and attending various Rotary events in our community.
Rotary became especially meaningful to our family last year when Mikey had the opportunity to participate in a Rotary exchange to France. At the same time, my family hosted a student from Switzerland. We are incredibly thankful to Rotary for the opportunities and experiences they have given Mikey. The exchange has inspired his love of travel, different cultures and languages.
I am very excited to become involved with Rotary and to have the opportunity to give back to the community I love and have grown up in. I look forward to meeting everyone, getting involved and being part of all the work Rotary does, both locally and around the world.
