Students Teaching and Empowering Philanthropy (STEP) sponsored a meal packaging work day at the Marshalltown High School on Wednesday, April 3rd. One of our Student Rotarians announced the event to our club, and nine Rotarians signed up to participate. Thousands of high protein meals were packaged by dozens of student and adult volunteers in just two hours. The packaged meals will be distributed to families in need through the Emergency Food Box, Salvation Army, and House of Compassion. Thanks to all who participated.
