District Governor Visits Knoxville Club

DG Loring Miller and his wife Phyllis visited Knoxville to energize the club in several ways: District Goals; membership; Foundation; and the 4-way Test. He used the Presidential Theme - "You are A Gift to The World."
Districts goals include supporting the District Foundation Goals because it supports eradication of Polio (PolioPlus). Africa is now polio-free for the first year with only the Afghanistan and Pakistan countries remaining with annual new cases. Another goal is to increase membership of all ages offering with out-of-the-box approaches for participation. And, third, offering Youth Services, including their participation in the club. Loring was energetic and passionate in his delivery especially when honoring the vision of Rotarians that contributed to Knoxville, Iowa, and worlds success. Miller recommended branding and re-branding Rotary; continue to build membership and think out-of-the-box; and live the 4-Way Test.
