2018 CHRISTMAS PARTY
Christmas cheer abound at Pia's Bakery on Broadway! Members of Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands came together December 8 for a Christmas celebration and to honour two members as Paul Harris Fellows. Susan McCutcheon and Dave Holwell, who have also fearlessly led the charge in organizing Taste of Autumn events, were granted the award.  Pictured are Dave and Susan alongside Cynthia Rayburn (in her signature camouflage jacket!) presenting.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK
Rotary elves were busy at work on Saturday morning, putting together our club's display for Christmas in the Park. From December 8 to 31, stroll the park from 5:30-10pm to catch the magic. Location: Kay Cee Gardens, 29 Bythia Stret. Free parking at the Edelbrock Centre. Pictured l-r are Dave Holwell, honourary Rotarian Pauline and organizer Cynthia Rayburn. Missing from the photo is President Michele Fisher.

SANTA CLAUS PARADE
Christmas music was the theme of this year's Santa Claus Parade in Orangeville, and the Rotary Clubs of Orangeville float did not disappoint. Working with a classroom of Interactors, our "Carolling in the Country - Magic!" float featured a live keyboard player, children singing their favourite carols, and members from both Rotary Clubs walking alongside. It was a nippy afternoon but all the smiles warmed hearts. A big thanks to honourary member Christine Bita for helping to create the float with Rotary Club of Orangeville. Thank you also to RCOH members Margorie Grime, Jeff Bathurst, Michele Fisher, Lori McHenry and Adrian Bita for participating in the parade.

What a wonderful evening! At 18 years of age, Bianka (right, middle), came to Canada as a Rotary exchange student from her home in Germany. Last Tuesday, August 21, she reconnected with her hosts, Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands, reflected on her “adventure of a lifetime” and how it changed the direction of her life. It was fantastic to talk to her all these years later and hear about her life. Joining her at Forage for dinner was Cathy Campbell, Cynthia Rayburn, Anne Bathurst, Jeff Bathurst and Margorie Grime.
