Last week our Sergeant at Arms was Mike Hartwig who tested our knowledge on Marshmallows! 
 
We met in our committees for our meeting last Wednesday. Report outs are as follows:
 
Youth and Family: Committee is working on fulfilling the requirement for the grant, and would like help from our fellow members on October 8th from 2-5 at the Altoona Campus working with youth. More information to come about this event soon. 
 
Club Service: Working on the Christmas party, and possibly the Boone Train ride. Also exploring ideas for a game night. 
 
​​​​​​​Community Service: Has decided to sponsor the Caring Hands family run event, more information to come about this soon. Also an idea is being formed on volunteering to usher at Prairie Meadows for fundraising. 
 
Membership: Focused on a mission to get new members, and possibly learn from the members that left the club. 
 
Vocational: Looking at a trivia night and also expo ideas. 
 
​​​​​​​International: Upcoming trip to Iraq in the fall is a 4 person team. Will be providing more information soon. 
 
This week our Sergeant at Arms is Darrell Hanson and our Rotarian of the Day is President Elect Bruce Mason.
