At our last meeting our Sergeant at Arms was Corinne, who stumped us with some Winter trivia. It was apparently just in time for the snow!
 
Before meeting in Committees, Dr. Blessman joined us and introduced Jacqueline, who is a 16 year old foreign exchange student from South Africa. She is attending school in Winterset and is excited about the opportunity. 
 
Ryan from the Community Foundation also joined us and talked about starting an Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation,  which is a 501.c.3 and would allow our donors to get tax credit when donating money to Rotary.  This was voted on by the Club, and passed to start an Endowment Fund. 
 
Due to these events, we were not able to get much time in Committees. Reminder of the bowling bash coming up, and also our Winter Party in January. More information to come soon. 
 
This Wednesday our Sergeant at Arms is Eric Borseth, and our Rotarian of the Day is Darrell Hanson.
