What a fantastic weekend we have had celebrating our member Rtn Juliet Rwatooro’s wedding. The wedding was officiated by His Grace the Archbishop of Uganda accompanied by other bishops and clergy. You showed up in big numbers and showed that in rotary, we are a family. We wish Rtn Juliet a loving and happy marriage.
“In Rotary, moments of celebration remind us of the strength of our fellowship.”
November is Rotary Foundation Month. The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is Rotary’s charitable arm — it turns our club’s gifts into grants and projects that change lives. At RC Kampala North, we’ve helped unlock major projects — from health equipment to education — and now have representation at the highest levels: Rtn. Tusu serves as a TRF Trustee and Rtn. Emmanuel Katongole serves as a Rotary International Director. Read on to see how TRF works, how money is invested and used, and easy ways you can support.
“Every gift to The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members take action to create lasting change.”
