Jean Shelton, following a national search, was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of On With Life, the widely acclaimed Des Moines area based neurological rehabilitation organization. In that role she succeeds former Club Member Julie Dixon who retired in November, 2017. Jean is a native of Nebraska who moved to Central Iowa in 1980 and since then has held senior healthcare positions with the Iowa Digestive Disease Center (CEO) and formerly with the Unity Point Health System (Regional Vice President). She holds an MBA from Drake University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Residing in Johnston, Jean has a son who is an Iowa State University graduate and now attending graduate school at Oregon State University. In her spare time she enjoys painting and spending time with her two Great Danes. Welcome, Jean, to the Rotary Club of Des Moines.
