There has never been a better time to join the Rotary Club of Des Moines.

Rotarians expand their horizons by building relationships with the region’s leading professionals, elected officials, and decision-makers. We meet once a week to exchange ideas, listen to national and local speakers, and network with one another. Rotary Club of Des Moines members also develop and direct philanthropic efforts that support, sustain, and move Central Iowa forward.

Becoming a member of Des Moines’ oldest and most vibrant Rotary Club is simple, affordable, and manageable for the busiest person, senior executive, and the newly minted professional alike. Men and women of all ages and backgrounds who live and work throughout the Des Moines area are part of our club. The only thing we are lacking is you.

Joining the Rotary Club of Des Moines presents fulfilling opportunities to play a part in enriching your community and advance your career. During the pandemic, our Rotary has been meeting virtually. Once this crisis passes, we will return to meeting in person at the Wakonda Club for lunch on Thursdays. How much time you devote to club activities and efforts is up to you.

Why join now?

Joining the Rotary Club of Des Moines is a wise decision anytime, but becoming a Rotarian now will allow you to meet new people and be a part of something vital during these trying times when circulating in person is difficult. When we can be with each other again, your first in-person Rotary experience will feel like coming home. As a bonus, the Rotary Club of Des Moines has waived its induction fee, and new members will only pay dues of 50% for the first year after the club resumes in-person meetings and will receive a 25% discount for their second four quarters of membership in the Rotary Club of Des Moines.

The Rotary Club of Des Moines needs you, and you need Rotary. Let’s join together! If you are interested in becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Des Moines, please contact the Rotary Office.
