ROTARY CLUB OF OAKVILLE WEST (RCOW)
 
  • Oakville Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Community Awards in January.
    The three Oakville Rotary Clubs collaborate annually to recognize and award six outstanding Oakville residents with a Paul Harris Fellowship for their substantial contribution and exceptional service to the community.
 
  • Oakville Awards for Business Excellence (OABE) in April. RCOW’s signature event in which we now partner with the Oakville Chamber of Commerce in celebration of business excellence.  A number of local businesses and entrepreneurs are awarded for their dedication to business excellence and generosity to the Oakville community. The 25th annual OABE will continue to support RCOW youth programs and initiatives.
     
  • Oakville Rotary Education Awards (OREA) in May. From the proceeds of the OABE, RCOW continues to provide scholarships and bursaries to many grade 12 students seeking secondary education.  Together the three Oakville Rotary Clubs recognize these amazing young people and distribute more than $50,000 annually to their post-secondary endeavours.
     
  • Midnight Madness – Ice Cream Waffles & S’mores in July.  This major Oakville event is organized by the Down Town BIA.  RCOW offers incredible ice cream waffles & s’mores to hungry visitors while they learn about Rotary, support youth programs and enjoy the festive surroundings.
 
  •  “Golf to Give” Charity Golf Tournament in September. RCOW and RCO collaborate, organize and host this annual event with proceeds benefiting local charities. This year’s event will be held at Turtle Creek Golf Club.  Please refer to our website for more detail  www.rotaryclubofoakvillewest.com
