Jan. 9, 2018 - Ellis Katsof, Author / Topic: His Book: "Life 3.0 - Protirement, NOT Retirement".
Ellis defines 'Protirement' as the pursuit of fulfilling activities after retirement in the 3rd chapter of our lives.
After his retirement, he interviewed 100 Baby Boomers and Pre-Baby Boomers from varied backgrounds, several of whom are celebrities. He noticed clear patterns emerging and went on to write his book which centres on:
- The 3 stages of change: Retirement; Transition Zone; Protirement
- Protirement Checkerboard - 17 Boomer categories his interviewees fit into
- His interviewees' Pre and Protirement Advice to others
Ellis conducts workshops and presentations about how Baby Boomers are 'changing retirement and embracing Life 3.0'. His book is available on Amazon.ca. More details are available on his website at: MyProtirement.com.
