Eagle Point Lodge Update

The Rotary Club of Clinton has accomplished the goal of raising $1,000,000 to completely renovate The Lodge at Eagle Point Park.  In partnership with Russell Construction, the project will commence this fall with the initial focus being on the outside work.  During the months of January, February, and March the inside of The Lodge will be completely renovated.  It is our goal to have the project  completed and to have a grand opening celebration the first week of April.
 
The Rotary Club of Clinton will continue raising money between now and the end of the year for items on an alternate list that didn’t fit into the initial $1,000,000 budget.  Our goal for this phase of fundraising is another $200,000.  The items on this list include the following –
 
  • Wireless Internet Service – This is very important to Clinton Convention and Visitors Bureau
  • Exterior lighting on veranda and at front of The Lodge
  • Fencing along roadway north east of The Lodge
  • New stackable chairs for receptions
  • Stone column wraps at west interior wall of hall
  • Stone wall repair on the north and south
