Oakville Community Robotics Team

The Oakville Community FIRST Robotics Team is a not for profit organization that was started 3 years ago.  Its goal is to stimulate young persons interest in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.  FIRST is international organization. It offers a number of age relevant programs that encourages students to learn many skills while building robots, and the mentors who started this team in Oakville had over 150 collective years of FIRST experience.  Two of the team’s founding mentors – George Chisholm and Peter Lowes – are here together with three of the team’s members, together of course with their new Robot that competed last weekend at a Competition in Barrie
