Helping the Birds

The Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar (RCOT) built easy-to-install, bird-friendly, birdhouse to help grow the bird population in our community.

These Eco-friendly birdhouses (made of untreated pine) were lovingly made by volunteers. They helped RCOT as a fundraiser and they saved birds.

At a cost of only $30, many people bought them for their backyards or gave them away as a gift.  Either way, they helped birds find new, safe, and comfy homes to raise a family.

The RCOT also donated dozens of box to both the Oakville’s 16th Scout Troop and the Abbey Road High School Rotoract Club so that they could raise funds for their groups.

We are proud to have helped the bird population grow safely in our community.
