THIS WEEK'S ZOOM MEETING...
This week the Rotary Clubs of Oakville hosted, via ZOOM, the Paul Harris Fellow Community Recognition Awards on Wednesday January 20th at 7 p.m. Eighteen of the 67 participants were from our club.
The invocation was delivered by our very own Jim Campbell and District Governor Michael Lawrie provided opening remarks.
The evening's guest speaker was Wendy Rinella who spoke on Community Building During the COVID Pandemic.
Recipients of the Paul Harris Fellow awards were:
Shawn Feng & Carol Chan for raising money for PPE.
Adam Graves & Scott Bachly for their work with the Smilezone Foundation.
Wendy Perkins, founder of Home Sweet Hope for volunteerism.
Liz Blunt for her volunteerism.
Graham Schreiber for his volunteerism.
Wendy Rinella for her work as a community builder.
Brian Hanna for his work as a community builder.
The evening was organized by the Presidents - Elect and the emcee was Michael Conway.
