A couple of weeks ago my first excursion out of Oakville was to Don Mills, where we lived in the 60s, to visit the church we built back then. Two people said, “You were here in the Golden Years”.
The Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende - Midday handed out roses to mothers - with a wish for "Feliz Dia Mama" in the town square on Mothers Day May 10th. Select the link below to enjoy the day.
We are an active group of volunteers; we raise money so that we can give it all away, and we have a lot of fun doing it!
At the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar, we are a diverse group of people of varying ages and from all walks of life—professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees, parents, and grandparents—and united in our commitment to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self. We share a common purpose: to make a difference in our community and to create lasting positive change here at home and around the world.
Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.
You are invited to visit us at an upcoming meeting. Currently we are meeting via ZOOM on Thursdays at 12 noon. You can receive the meeting invitation my emailing info@rcot.ca
