The Rotary Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup: April 17th – 24th 2021
This info is from James Weber co-chair of Environment 7080
Rotary Passport Club South.
What is it?
You may have seen the video posted on the District 7080 community Facebook page. The Rotary Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup initiative is an effort to focus attention to the Great Lakes and to all the great work that is being done to cleanup our lakes, streams, and waterways. Through the coordination of many associated clean up events during Earth Week, from April 17th to the 24th, our goal is to make this the single largest series of linked clean up events ever planned and held during this one period on the Great Lakes and surrounding waters.
To Participate:
Get your club to select a nearby waterway or even a local park to clean up and be a part of this exciting event on April 24! Mark this in your calendars. Please let your club members know of this opportunity and if any would like to participate, please contact me and let me know how many members from your club will be joining.
Note: RCOT Eco will make a further announcement soon.
Everybody, please visit www.ESRAG.org to see what Rotarians can do.
