In Rotary small ideas can make a big difference.
In 2016 eight (8) Rotary clubs from Milton, Oakville, and Burlington (MOB) got together to jointly support one Global Grant every year. To date we have undertaken nine (9) projects with a total value of $1,216,000 US.
A Rotary Global Grant is a grant provided by The Rotary Foundation to support large international projects with sustainable, measurable outcomes in Rotary's ares of focus. These grants can fund a variety of activities, including humanitarian projects, vocational training teams, and scholarships for graduate-level studies. They are designed to address significant global challenges and advance Rotary's mission of world understanding and peace.
