Michael Lawrie, our District Governor for 2020-21, is a retired family physician who has lived in Cambridge since 1977 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Cambridge Sunrise.

Mike joined Rotary in 1987 and has been club president three times, is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a major donor to the Rotary Foundation. He has done two Rotary-supported humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic. Volunteer and leadership positions include United Way, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, various positions at his United Church and the local medical staff.

Mike is married to Louise and they have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
