Martin R. Ricketts is a serial entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of Unified Digital Solutions, Chief Architect of Digital Samurai, and Master Instructor for Digital Ronin Apprentice.

His understanding of tech industry trends has proven prescient. Martin has predicted and written about emerging technology for more than 25 years. He was President of MEDIA Innovations in the 90s, a digital signage and content production company that pioneered the use of non-linear editing on computers.

Martin believes strongly that technology should be effortless to use. Martin developed the Katana Digital Roadmap and the Profit Generator Blueprint programs, technology solutions designed to create a client experience that evolves over time with a level of customized service only possible by leveraging AI and voice search, and integrating Cognitive Augmentation in their daily lives in an effortless, organic way.

Martin has developed interactive kiosks, digital signage systems, and custom digital marketing solutions for corporate clients. Clients have included Ford Motor Company of Canada, Rogers Cable TV, Shaw Cable TV, McDonald’s, Panasonic US, Hallmark Cards, Coldwell Banker Canada, The Midas Group, The University of Western Ontario and Bayer/AGFA.

Martin is a Japanese Martial Arts Expert & YMCA volunteer Karate instructor for over 20 years. Holds Samurai title of Kyoshi from the Japanese Imperial family, the ranks of Rokudan (6th degree Black Belt) in Karate, Sandan (5th degree) in Iaido, and Sandan in Kobudo (Japanese weapons).

He has integrated “Samurai thinking”, tactics practiced by Samurai for 1,200 years, into Digital Samurai creating an innovative program for entrepreneurs that leverages technology, digital marketing, and advanced learning techniques.
