  • Guest speaker: Bryant Stevener
Total of 32
  • Our first hybrid meeting!
  • Courtney from Interact – wasn’t on.
  • Judy Goodnow, Joya Dennehy, Jeannie Richards, Bob Couch, Linda Bliss, Bryant Stevener & Gerry Carrier were recognized for their work on beautifying the Old Town Hall (my apologies if I missed anyone).
  • Carol Niegisch: Read in’s at Dunbarton & Bow Elementary Schools both went well. Pictures were shown. All the children really loved the books and appreciated them.
  • Committee Reports: Joya Dennehy – with a Concert update: she has lined up 3 dates: The Freese Brothers is one. Info going to Bob for the website soon.
  • Car Show Update from Gerry Carrier – mailers have gone out, getting updates for the date on the signage, needs volunteers for signs when done. Porta potties are all set. Banks Chevy is letting us use their truck again. Robert will work on speakers for the event. Committee meeting likely next week. Covid-19 protocols will be in place. More to come on that. We’re in good shape.
  • Gerry mentioned dues notices went out. Please make your payment. If you are not planning on renewing, please let the board know asap.
  • Tom & Ceil Wilson had a house fire. They are fine and the cat got out okay as well. The home is uninhabitable, it started in his office. We’ll keep you posted on what we can do to help. Ceil works with Gale Kenison at Shaker Road School and they have been taking donations to give to them.
Sergeant at Arms: Joya Dennehy
Happy Bucks:
  • Joya’s first live meeting as Sergeant!
  • Mike Gula had a birthday. Had a nice day with the family in Rye.
  • Jon Ruggles had a happy $5 because Jackie gets her driver’s license today!!!
  • Rob Werner happy $5 for he and Maryanne.
  • Ken Moulton – one for the Bruin’s win and one for a Plymouth State Awards event that raised about $30,000. One for going to Bar Harbor with Jackie next week.
  • Donna Deos (me) tried to apologize for anything that doesn’t make the notes/bulletin because I/she couldn’t hear it, but the live folks couldn’t hear me say that! (insert shrug emoji here).
  • Tamar Roberts gave a sad dollar. Having trouble with her legs. She received a bone cancer diagnosis. They are looking into this more and she may likely have a surgery down the road. She is all set for now and will let us know if there is anything we can do. Much love from her and to her from all of us.
  • Peter Imse regarding special election next week. PSA – please vote. Please respond to his emails if you are available to help counting ballots today or after voting next Tuesday.
  • Ben Kiniry – happy to be back live in person, happy for first graders, & thankful for something that will remain unwritten, but was very funny!
  • Dean Cascadden – Happy for all that we have learned and gained through the pandemic – for the accelerated change. Generation defining event. (Like 9/11 was for the Millennials).
Program: Classification talk: Bryant Stevener
Our very own Bryant Stevener did a classification talk. He was very entertaining and informative about his journey to becoming a chiropractor and his 22 years in practice! He also talked about pandemics. If you haven’t heard Bryant speak before, he is a very good educator.
His business was an essential service so he stayed open. He was the only business in his building that was still open. He made all necessary changes and had a very good year.
Respectfully Submitted,
Donna Deos
