Correspondence – Quilts of Valor – We received a Thank you letter from Kathy Bacon
Golf team B team lost to A team, $5.00 had to be paid by B team.  Dean Cascadden won the putting contest, A team was 2 over!

Happy Bucks: 
Dick Swett – had to leave early he was picking up his wife at Concord bus stop
Chris Parkinson  – 49th Wedding Anniversary, it has been mostly good.
Judy Goodnow – $2 happy bucks, Her Dad was in the Navy, they moved 16 times, but she kept this one friend for 45 years and they got to spend the day together and she also spent the day with her 5 year-old grandchild and she is exhausted.
Tamar Roberts – Scared of needles but she has had to stab herself 396 times and the last time was last week!
Bryant Stevener – Saw former member Dave Christie at Concord Ortho.  Bryant’s daughter Kate tried out for volley ball team and made the team, his daughter Abby had her 3 month follow up with no growth of the tumor.
Matt Dodge – Missed meeting last week, thank you Gerry Carrier for covering last week as he was at the lake for a week.
Eric Anderson – $2 happy bucks, Summer Concert Series nice article in the Bow Times, last week after the concert they went to Maine in the rain and today he was headed to Northern NH in the rain.
Dave Scanlan – Golf was a lot of fun, 22 inches from the hole on the closest to the pin!
Linda Bliss – Capital City Rotary had 2 State Troopers as their guest speakers, and they were excellent.
Peter Imse – Babysat 2 grandchildren, 2 more today, Bryant why were you at Concord Ortho?  Bryant broke his knee brace and needed a new one.
Dave Farr – Friday morning meetings are fun, he is a coach of the middle school girls soccer team.  Celebrated their 18th wedding Anniversary by taking his wife to Bagel Works.
Ben Kiniry - Daughter is heading off to SNHU.  Donna Deos has been with him for 2 years and she has been great!  His practice has grown by word of the mouth
Steve DeStefano – Today is my 39th Wedding Anniversary and I at least took my wife to Angelina’s!

Committees:
Secretaries Report – Bill Ames – 96.71 % for the month of July and we actually had one meeting at 100%,
Current Membership: 46 Members, 39 Active, 7 Honorary
 
Treasurer’s Report – Tamar Roberts – End of July data 
$19,000 Club
$45,000 Foundation
(18,000) reserved for scholarships
            
Sargent-At-Arms - Tanya Frost – Lots of Happy Bucks because we have such a happy group
International Service - Carol Niegisch - Chris/international – Honduras trip almost full
Ben Kiniry -  Grant money- he has given them an ultimatum or pull the plug
Matt for Dick Swett – Funds are coming into Malawie Grant
Michelle Olivier – No report
Rob Werner – Community service
Christmas tree committee has met & trees have been ordered.
Roadside clean to be scheduled soon.
Auction more info later, letters going out soon to sponsors and friends.
Grappone and Merrimack County Savings Bank top sponsors.
Concert Series – committee worked exceptionally hard, Thursday night works great.  Feel the community is better connected.
Dave Farr – New members – Picnic tables are done, $154 for a Rotary dedication.
Gerry Carrier – Pavilion sign has been approved, check with the local Rotary Club to come to grand opening
Matt Dodge – The board completed the updating of our Honorary membership and not as tough as before.
Board voted to give $500 to school nurses for spending money on snacks and bottles of water out of their own pockets.  InterAct and EarlyAct may contribute or match.
Someone suggested that we should donate snacks left over from the concert series to the school nurses.
 
President Matt closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.
