Meet at Park & Ride, Route 3. Mike said he needs 16 people to get it done. It goes very quickly and you can get on with the rest of your day. Birthdays: - Ben Kiniry – A young 49 years gave $10. Sad dollars for his Dad and sister’s passing. Happy for all else that is going well personally. His family healthy and happy and his wife still likes him. His employment at Laboe and Tasker is going well after closing his own business.
Happy Dollars: - Bill McGonagle - 8 Happy Bucks: 5 for getting a P&S on their cottage and $2 for closing. $1 for Bob and Rosemary Couch’s woeful traveling adventures (delayed and re-routed flights) to St. Petersburg, Russia. They did arrive successfully, but tired.
- Dave Gazaway – For his good friend from Jordan Milton dropping off an (Caterpillar) excavator for some yard work. Also for his family flying to a Nashville getaway, giving him some fun alone time at home?
- Rick Minard – After not necessarily an easy road, his son is a freshman at Clarkson
- Michelle Fortin – For an amazing vacation with all for of her children to Vancouver/Seattle. Also, Andrea will be starting as a freshman at Boston College; and Colby leaves today to Trinity College
- Dean Cascadden – For starting the school year with something awesome - groundbreaking for The Wildcat Habitat project. Also for Bow Rotary’s contribution to the project.
- Jeff Kipperman - $5. Eric is in his final year at Bryant University. On a fishing trip with his college roommate to Christmas Island, he caught a 50lb. Giant Trevally.
 - Matt Dodge – For a great bike ride with the Hopkinton Club up Mt. Kearsarge. He encouraged Club members to join in next year.
- Dick Swett – For the great wedding held at their home. All 7 of their kids were present, including the bride! And then they had a nice 2 week vacation in Maine. Dick and Katrina’s youngest is in her last year of college….last tuition check after putting 7 kids through college.
- Chris Parkinson – No pin. Slept in boathouse last night as part of their moving process after the sale of their home.
- Sandy Eldredge – Her daughter is teaching science at Bow Memorial
- Paul Mercier announced that with today’s donations and a matching amount, we have $2,500 which will be sent to Rotary District in hurricane-strickened Houston area.
Raffle: Steve Lauwers, but no joker. Program Speaker: Richard Kahn of Kahn Landscaping Richard repurposes items to include in his landscaping projects. Today he showed us how he repurposes plastic bottles to make a slow-drip watering system for when you are away on vacation. It includes drilling a hole in the cap of the bottle, inserting a floral tube in the hole from inside the cap and drilling a couple small holes in the floral tube a short way down from the tip. Put in a plant upside down, it lasts for a month. Dean Cascadden volunteered to make one…and did a fine job! Dean was awarded one for his school’s engineering class. Mr. Kahn also uses repurposing to make clocks, from car parts, computer chips, etc. He also has a patent on a landscaping tool created.
