Birthdays:

Fines:
None noted.
Happy Bucks:
- Donna Deos – Headed to Boston for the weekend with the inbound Exchange Students. “What was I thinking!”
- Tanya Frost - $3 – Son’s 11th birthday, anniversary and their vacation starting tomorrow in Surf City NC.
- Bob Couch – Feeling lucky hurricane Lee’s eye is going to be 40-60 miles east of us. Expecting 2-4” of rain but not the high winds the eastern side will suffer.
- Judy Goodnow – Celebrated her and Mike’s anniversary. (years? Maybe 17?)
- Ben Kiniry is going to see their son in Norfolk VA but even better is they will get to take an aircraft carrier out to sea for a spin. He sounded more excited about that part actually.
- Peter Imse – attended the Selectmen’s Volunteer Appreciation night and met a man who gave him a hard time at the last town meeting.
- Gerry Carrier – (years?) anniversary of 1st date/dance. (I think I heard 50-something)
- Linda Bliss – Chair of her successful class reunion, her recent eye apt report was very good and she’s headed to NC to visit their kids.
- Chris Parkinson – His Yankees / Red Sox rivalry going well. (is what I could hear)
- Dean Cascadden – has been building a sugar house, and boating. His Sunday night hockey? At his Wednesday night league, he scored first goal of the season! But into his own net.
- Dave Scanlan – $20 - Great article & photo in Monitor but he didn’t have his pin on.
- Mike Gula – Attended 911 firemen’s memorial event. He did 30 minutes on a Stairmaster with heavy vest on to memorialize 911.

Program:
Steve DeStefano introduced Bob Quinn, CEO NH Association of Realtors
Showed housing data for Bow & State-wide
Housing costs in Bow is rising much faster than cost of inflation.
Number of homes available for sale declining steadily over past 10 years.
NH currently only at a 5 day inventory.
Covid didn’t affect it that much,
Recent survey found Housing is #1 concern of our population.
Average national first-time buyer’s age is 36 because of the high cost of housing. Other states it’s in the 20’s.
Housing a national issue but more extreme in NH & MA
Price here increase 7% faster than in MA – Not the same nationally.
Last 4.5 years have not seen a decrease in average price of a home in NH.
Respectfully Submitted,
Bob Couch for Michelle Fortin
