- Judy read a thank you note from Tanner for the Driver’s Ed scholarship
- Judy gave a shout out to the public relations committee for getting the Bow Rotary name front & center. Congratulations!
- Judy reminded the club that in an environment where it can be challenging to stay positive, we should all “check it at the door”. We don’t take political sides, we listen, we are respectful and we enjoy good friendships and breakfast.

Happy Bucks: - Donna Deos for her great visit out to Minnesota to see her daughter.
- Chris Parkinson was happy the banner was located.
- Dave Gazaway had a split happy for checking in three weeks in a row and that logo fines don’t apply to gadgets.
- Alan Kanesberg was happy for a trip to Reno Nevada for 3-weeks. He did two make-ups at the casinos which cost him an arm and a leg.
- Peter Imse was happy for a weekend visit to see his daughter and son in law. They went to dinner and saw a Broadway show.
- Ben Kiniry was happy to tell a story about a 1st date with a girl and not being able to locate his money.
- Dean Cascadden gave in memory of his mother who recently passed away.
at the age of 96. Dean spoke about some of the things that meant a great deal to him and that his mother lived by practical values; putting others first, pay your employees a fair living wage and do things that say how much people mean to you.

Michelle Fortin introduced Joyce Kimball, State President of the Federation of Garden Clubs
Joyce provided an overview of the Bow Garden Club and talked about the many beautification projects they do in and around Bow. She has been an active volunteer with the Bow Garden Club since 2001. They are a 501c3 organization and have 55 members, 4 of which are men. She expressed her thanks on behalf of the Garden Club for the partnership they share with Bow Rotary for maintaining Rotary Park. They have fundraisers in the spring and fall to keep the gardens maintained. In addition to gardening, the Garden Club provides a small scholarship to a senior in BHS, they donate annually to the Bow Human Services and they provide garden therapy to seniors at White Rock. Bow Garden Club welcomes new members and the annual dues are $20. Visit the website www.bowgardenclub.org for more details.
