Announcements:
-Dick Bean will join the Bow Rotary Club – welcome Dick!
-Recognition night will be on June 1st at the Bow Library - no Bow rotary meeting on June 2nd
-Car Show on May 20th – best if folks arrive at 6:30 – 6:45 AM
--Still need coolers for the car show…please bring to the May 19th Rotary meeting
--Tents are also needed for the car show
--4 Red Sox tickets will be raffled at the Car Show
--47 cars are currently pre-registered for the car show
-Jerry Youngman of Hopkinton provided the District conference review –
--Ambassadorial scholar was quite grateful…Kerry Healry, president of Babson College and
Former Lt. Governor of Massachusetts
--Over 25,000 meals were distributed to the needy in southern New Hampshire as part of
Service project.
-Donna Deos announced that she has made her donation of 426.50 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Foundation

-Michelle Fortin – all is good, and will donate $26.50 to the Rotary Foundation
-Dick Swett – family is doing well, and the past year has been a blessed one.

-Dave Stack – New Fire Chief has been sworn in…there will be an open house for the new Fire Chief --Michael Harrington on May 11th.

Club Assembly
The Bow Rotary Club has 52 active members
Attendance – 92.8% for February, 92.1% for March, 86.2% for April.
2017-2018 dues notices will be distributed shortly.
Finances: $19.479.11 is the current balance in the club account. $56, 739 is the current balance in the foundation.
Club Service – EarlyAct and InterAct will both have tables at the Car Show on May 20th.
Scholarships – Ken Moulton reports that the program is moving forward
President-elect Judy Goodnow will be sending a list of committee assignments soon…club members should make preferences known.
