President Michelle opened the meeting at 07:30 and Dick Bean shared some inspiration about hosting Rotary exchange students, one of whom has moved to Ukraine.

Announcements:

Eric Anderson encouraged people to sign up for town offices and listed openings. Summer Concerts are being planned. Considering changing day to Thursday evenings at 6:00 with a 90 minute show. The committee is focusing on groups and publicity.
David Gazaway gave an update on the May 20th Car Show. Preliminary advertising has started.
Judy Goodnow and Gerry Carrier are working on a new member meeting. Expect some possible dates soon.
Dick Swett gave an Interact update about a recent successful Bingo Night.
Chris Parkinson updated the club on the upcoming Amigos trip in 3 weeks. They still need soft sided suitcases no later than next Friday.
Dick Swett also shared about a African Rotoract club that would like donations for a water taxi/ambulance for a bunch of unpronounceable Malawi island in east Africa. They are looking for $2,500. The club voted to move forward with exploring this opportunity. Both the Interact and EarlyAct clubs have money and may want to participate.
Ben Kiniry discussed making this a microloan, and updated the global grant fund process that he has been spearheading.

Birthdays:

Birthdays: Bryant had to ask whose birthday it was which is a fine in itself. Dick Bean shared that he was 71 but he's now 72.

Ben Kiniry arrived after his guest Dave Farr.

Happy Bucks:

Tamar Roberts gave $2 for a long overdue visit from her son and her positive follow up on her leg rehabilitation. She’s happy to be on two feet with new sneakers being used.

Matt Dodge was noticed as a Top Team in NH from Forbes magazine for financial advisors.

Aron Labrie shared about a jacket she won at the auction, Size 44. It fit Tom Ives perfectly. She didn't want any money for it but Tom will do something.

Michelle Olivier was recognized for helping with a wire transfer to Honduras by Chris Parkinson.

Peter Imse was happy for Bengals results related to his family.

Tom Ives shared about a successful library fundraiser and project.
Eric Anderson shared about the library exhibit Artists in Bow at the Baker Free new space.
Ben Kiniry shared about getting a car from his aunt's estate. After looking at several options, he gave it to his son and new wife in FL

Program: Quarterly Club Informational Meeting

Bill Ames update to bylaws:

Need to accept the RI constitution. Club voted affirmatively.
Position of VP eliminated so succession is 3 years instead of 4.
Issue of who organizes the nominating committee was surfaced. We are not following our own bylaw.
No change to bylaw proposed, but issue was noted.
Make-ups can now be done up to one month before or after instead of two weeks.
Annually, the week of February 24^th should be acknowledging the History of Rotary. This is in the bylaws, but has not been followed.
Scooter issue was discussed. It is not in the bylaws. We no longer fine them. Kind of left the practice during COVID and remote meetings.
A scooter must attend 60% of a meeting for it to count and need 50% attendance to stay in the club. Discussion of if we are following this ensued.
Bylaws were approved as presented-Judy Goodnow Motioned and Dick Swett Seconded.

Bob Couch-Clubrunner Use by Committee Chairs:

Clubrunner has a Committee Module, which should house all of the documents and information about a committee. This replaces the old black binders which were always getting lost.
Bob demonstrated how to access the committee sections of the Club Runner website
- Committee member lists and descriptions were shown
- There is a subcommittee function
- Documents are a big deal!
  - Different folders have all of the info for past events
  - Car show folders were shown as an example
- Email function allows quick communication with the working group- this was demonstrated. Responses only go back to the sender to avoid the appearance of SPAM
Bob will continue to train the club on how to use this tool
Every bulletin sent out has a member’s personal info on what their responsibilities are in the club

Meeting ended at 8:34 by President Michelle with a toast to Rotary the world over.
