Birthdays:
Dick Bean had a birthday but he didn't have too much to say.
Today was Linda Bliss's birthday so we sang to her.
Not such a good 2024. Battle with the IRS (nothing she did wrong)
Her oldest son passed away very recently.

Fines: It was pointed out that Ben Kiniry's advert picture on the back of the Bow Times has no pint.  Club felt he should be fined on a monthly basis for lack of pin in this Ad.(general consensus)

Happy Bucks:
  • Matt Gatzke - Encouraged us to watch Christa McAuliffe documentary on PBS and see former member Jeanne Gerulskis. Also their family visited family memorial brick at the Old Man in Franconia Notch on the anniversary of daughter Emily's passing.
  • Tanya Frost - thanks to Ken Moulton for subbing in!
  • Ben Kiniry $5- thanks to Dave Scanlan for his presentation last night on the new voting laws changes and for Eric Anderson, who took an updated photo of he and Tammy recently.
  • Jon Ruggles - paid respect to Linda’s son, who used to work for his company.
  • Bob Couch - saw and liked new Bob Dylan movie matinee.
  • Donna Deos - happy as usual
  • Chris Parkinson - happy to be heading to Florida and Honduras.
  • Dave Gazaway - he was at Rotary to set up  so early today he thought he was late for last week's meeting. Also happy his picture was finally in the Bow Times.
  • Dave Scanlan - had a great West Coast trip, shared a plane ride with Matt Dodge to UT, then made his way to Seattle to see his daughter)
  • Ken Moulton - had fun in Naples playing in a doubles tennis tournament. They made it to the semi final!
Program: Donna Deos introduced Gary Miller to talk about the Rotary Leadership Institute. (RLI)
Gary Miller spoke about RLI, and did some story telling with the group, and people spoke about their experience with RLI and their a-ha moments about their Rotary experiences.

President Gerry closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary the world over.

Respectfully Submitted,
Tynan Flanagan
