President Dave rang the bell not only to open the meeting but to open his year as our new President!

Announcements:
  • President Dave announced this meeting would be an abbreviated version of our regular meeting to give Chris Parkinson time for his presentation to the club.
  • Board of Directors meeting this Monday, July 15th at the Baker Free Library at 6:00 PM, all are welcome!
  • Concerts – Dave Stack announced the first concert of the summer series will be this Sunday evening, July 14th at the Gazebo (hopefully no thunderstorms!) 
  • Dues/Breakfast Invoice – Betsey Patten announced that the invoices had gone out and some payments have come in (Thank you!), but please make sure to bring your payment with you and see Betsey to receive credit.
  • President Dave read a beautiful thank you card from Sandra Crystal for receiving the Community Service Award. 
Sergeant at Arms – There is a new Sheriff in our midst – Matt Dodge took the oath to continue to receive and give fines.
Happy Bucks
  • Bill Ames was happy that they are having a new training session at the VNA and happy that from the visit that brought his team to our meeting to present that he is now a member of our club!
Raffle drawing:  Jerry Kingwill’s number was pulled but he couldn’t find the Joker.
 
Program:
Our own Chris Parkinson presented “25 Years of Bow Rotary Club Skits”.  If you weren’t there today, you missed an awesome compilation of the videos of the skits Chris has created over the years.  Thank you Chris and totally wonderfully entertaining!
 
Dave closed the meeting with a toast to Rotary at approximately 8:30 AM.

They offer non medical, in home care for individuals, elderly,
or with chronic or mental illness. They work very closely with folks with Alzheimer's and
are all Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Talk about the Center as Bow is one of the towns in their catchment area.
