Total of 39

Announcements:
  • President Bryant made the following announcements:
    • Career Day is 3/15 at BMS. See Dean Cascadden if you are interested in speaking.
    • RLI will be held on 3/16 at NHTI from 7:30 – 3:30pm. Visit the district website to sign up.
    • The 4-Way Speech Contest will be on 3/28 at the Baker Free Library. The event starts at 7:00pm.
    • The District 7870 conference will be 5/3 – 5/5 at the Doubletree Hotel in Boston. Visit the district website for more information and to sign up.
Sergeant at Arms: Ben Kiniry (only Ben was not here so Gerry Carrier substituted)
Logo Fines: Jon Ruggles for R&T Electric, and Michelle Olivier for a Merrimack County Savings Bank logo.
Jeannie Richards was fined for no badge.

Happy Bucks:
  • Matt Gatzke for taking care of his daughter’s boyfriend’s young son. There’s just something to that ability to ‘return to sender’ at the end of the day…..
  • Jon Ruggles for feeling better after having been sick
  • David Gazaway was happy for Karen Wadworth’s return. The conversation then took a detour, but this minute taker had already drifted off thinking about the potential snow fall this weekend. Did I have enough gas for the snowblower? Should I do my grocery shopping on Saturday as opposed to Sunday? Anyway….
  • Bryant Stevener was happy for his recent skiing vacation. No fighting with his brother, although he did manage to injure his knee on the last run. Murphy’s Law: Always happens on the last run
  • Alan Kanegsberg noted how the snow base in Nevada is 10-15 feet. I’m okay with that staying out west.
Raffle Winner:  Our visitor Jeff S. had the winning ticket, but not the joker

Program:
Tom Ives introduced the speakers: Town Manager Dave Stack and Selectman Colleen Hunter. Both presented this year’s warrants for the town side as well as explained the budget process and fielded questions from the crowd. Visit the Bow town website for a copy of the warrants.

Respectfully Submitted,
Robert Louf
