HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Attendance report Greeter Mike Fortier: 0 visiting Rotarians, 39 members, 1 guest for a total of 40 Announcements - President Judy reminded everyone that Deb Borbeau will be putting together holiday baskets and could use some help. Tuesday, November 21, at 7:00 a.m.
- Jon Hanson announced that Christmas tree setup will be on Wednesday, November 21 and tree unloading is on Saturday, November 25 (*UPDATE: Unloading will take place on Fri 11/24 @ 8:00am). A signup sheet was passed around. Rick Minard stated that the sale provides a great opportunity to invite potential members to a Club breakfast.
- President Judy announced that Christmas baskets will be put together and delivered on December 22. Help is always welcome.
- Chris Parkinson reported that the District Expo went well. There were 112 New Hampshire attendees and 80 from Vermont.
- Alan Kanegsberg, Rotary Foundation Chair, asked that anyone that has a Paul Harris pin with jewels to please bring it in for re-use.
Sergeant at Arms Time Sgt. Ben Kiniry collected the normal fines for missed badges, pins, late arrival, logos, etc. Birthday: Gerry Carrrier (November 11, 19??) They spent the day with his grandkids down at the Museum of Science. Tough year losing his Mom and a niece. Happy Bucks - Gerry Carrier reported that the downtown Concord merchants updated the wreaths for downtown and contributed $1,800 for music.
- Rick Minard is happy that he will be selling trees with Sandy Eldredge
- Tamar Roberts enjoyed the Expo and hanging with Gale Kenison and Donna Deos. She took a trip to Toronto for Remembrance Day.
- Jon Hanson is happy that his son is home from the Military and that all of his family will be home for Thanksgiving.
- Karen Wadsworth took a trip to Scottsdale, AZ and visited with her Dad who’s is still kickin’ it at age 97.
- Alan Kanegsberg and his wife took a trip through the Hudson Valley and went to Hyde Park, toured other mansion, and had a great dinner at the Culinary Institute.
- Chris Parkinson is happy that the Expo is over. He will be living in Bedford for 6 weeks.
- Dean Cascadden reported that the District received an anonymous donation of $250 for scholarships. He also reported they had a great time bringing in his dock for the season.
- Donna Deos was happy to see her neighbor, Carolyn Noyes, in the recent edition of the Bow Times.
- Gale Kenison reminded everyone that the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day begins at 8:00 a.m. Participants can register on the Police Department’s website page.
- Bill McGonagle thanked Matt Dodge for taking the minutes for him at the last Board meeting.
- Dave Gazaway took three 8th grade boys to see the Celtics.
- Steve Destefano went down to Florida and played in a baseball tournament with a team from Chicago.
- Peter Imse reported that Interact will be caroling at Havenwood on December 17.
- Paul Mercier thanked Alan, Tamar and Mike Fortier for holding down the fort while was in Canada.
- Ben Kiniry trained with his wife for a marathon and he ended up running the marathon with her.\
Raffle Time Rick Minard won. No joker. Club Assembly Annual Auction Report Matt Gatzke reported that the club made $24,000 net. Meeting attendance Secretary Bill McGonagle reported that the October attendance was 86.105, up from September. There are 48 full-time members, 4 85ers and 5 honorary members. EarlyAct Jeannie Richards reported that six members of the Club participated in the last Honor Flight They raised $166.27 for polio through a penny collection. They put together 60 bag lunches for the soup kitchen. Map Update President Judy said that the maps were still in progress. Old Town Hall accessibility project President Judy reported that the door and ramp are expected to be installed soon, and the bathroom will be done over the winter.
