District Tournament – We need one more golfer for the tournament, Sept 29th in Ludlow. Maybe Steve DeStefano?
Sergeant at Arms: Barb Griffin stepped in last second to cover for an ill Dave Farr, who was out sick. Barb might have set a new record for daily revenue, we’re not sure if Dave will get his job back!

Bryant Stevener – Daughter Kate won her first match in Volleyball this year. She won the game for the team as the server, which is not typically her strength.
Joya Dennehy – Celebrated her birthday last week, has had a busy year. Proud of helping to start a housing facility downtown for folks with intellectual disabilities.
Linda Bliss – Thank you to Joya for doing as great job with setup! Returned from a high school reunion.
Mike Gula – Excited for Brad to join the club.
Karen Wadsworth – Shout out to Red River Theater, three visit in recent weeks, would recommend it to all.
David Gazaway – A happy $100 for 90 years of his Mom’s life, who passed away last week, $10 for being her son.
Gerry Carrier – Interviewed for NH Magazine in an article about the town of Bow, he’s glad he didn’t say anything too stupid!
Durwood Sargent – A self-imposed fine for not wearing his hearing aid. Mom passed away recently at 102 years old. Got to see family in West Virginia.
Matt Gatzke – Two bucks for the “Bs”, Barb and Brad.
Dick Swett – Gives tours of the US Capital as a former Senator, enjoys sharing a special space with others.
Program: Club Assembly
Bill Ames: Secretary’s Report – 77% attendance for August, below our average. 63 members of the club, including Hooksett. $780 dollars outstanding for Dues and Breakfasts.
Tamar Roberts: Treasurer’s Report – The club accounts contain $12,863. About $2,800 going out for breakfasts. The Foundation accounts contain about $81,000. We have equity of about $33,000 or so after liabilities and committed dollars.
Mike Gula: Auction Update – Items and sponsorships are coming in, still working on acquiring more. Please look for an email from Carol with your assigned businesses, and/or please sign up on the list of businesses that is passed around each Friday. Now is the time to be gathering items! Ideally, we’d like to have nearly all items in by mid-late October. Raffle tickets are being printed now and will passed out soon.
Xmas Trees – On track per usual.
Set-up committee – Thank you for your work! We will streamline the process for breakfasts to be more organized about Evelyn vs breakfast sandwich days.
Interact – First full meeting this past Monday. 7-8 new freshman which is great to see. They are busy already with lots of events planned. Total number of students in the low-20s.
Greener Bow – Roadside pickup Oct 18th.
Matt Gatzke: Membership Committee – Had a meeting Wednesday night. Best source for new members? Maybe Dunbarton? They will think about how to get more involved in that community. Might set up a table at their Halloween gathering in the town to sell raffle tickets and pass out “Be our guest” cards. They also have an Old-Home Day where we could set up a table. Hoping to spread awareness about the scholarship work we do. Considering asking the board to buy a Four-Way test banner. Want to work on a new member mentorship program. Want to connect with the welfare coordinator in Dunbarton. Considering a night of Bowling at Atwell’s in late Oct / early Nov. Maybe a game night one evening at the OTH, or a trivia night.
